Dr. Lawrence Iteld is an aesthetic and reconstructive board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 20 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Iteld is a magna cum laude graduate of Rutgers College in New Jersey. He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School with distinction in research before going on to complete his plastic surgery residency at the University of Chicago. He also completed a microsurgery and oncologic fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center's Department of Plastic Surgery in Houston, TX. Before he returned to Chicago, he served as an assistant professor of plastic surgery at the University of Miami.
Dr. Iteld is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Illinois Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. I'm currently preparing for my upcoming breast lift surgery, so I'll follow up with results once it's done. For now, I can only comment on the professionalism of Dr. Iteld and his team. I initially considered another doctor but ultimately decided to cancel due to a series of mistakes leading up to the surgery. These included repeatedly losing my file, forgetting to date a prescription, sending appointment reminders for incorrect dates, providing me with the wrong quote, and--just three days before surgery--informing me it would cost $6,000 more due to an oversight.From the moment I walked into Dr. Iteld's beautiful office, the experience was completely different. I was warmly greeted by a professional receptionist, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly. It didn't feel like a place with a revolving door of part-time employees juggling college schedules. It was a well-organized, welcoming, and highly professional environment.Dr Iteld took his time with me and explained my options in detail. I also like the fact that they do not use narcotics for pain. Stay tuned!
I went to Dr. Iteld for breast augmentation and I couldn't be happier with the results. He gave me exactly what I wanted and I've never felt more confident. His team helped me every step of the way and made sure I was one-hundred percent sure and confident in my decision before we proceeded with the surgery. They let me come in multiple times to try on the sizers, until I finally felt confident with the size and look I wanted. Not to mention, Dr. Iteld's bedside manner is unmatched. I strongly recommend Dr. Iteld to anyone looking for cosmetic services. I will definitely be seeing him again in the future.
