Before starting your chemical peel treatment, we'll have you lie back and relax as a member of our team cleans your skin and prepares it for the peel. We offer six unique VI Peel formulations at Iteld Plastic Surgery in Chicago, IL:
- VI Peel Original: This treatment is ideal for patients who are new to the world of chemical peels or those looking for an occasional touch-up. If you have sensitive or rough skin or are showing early signs of aging, the Original may be the peel for you.
- VI Peel Precision Plus: This is our "powerhouse" treatment, designed to address discoloration and sun damage for a brighter, more even skin tone.
- VI Peel Purify: Safe for patients ages 13 and up, VI Peel Purify addresses active acne breakouts and helps prevent future flare-ups by unclogging the pores and removing bacteria known to cause acne.
- VI Peel Purify with Precision Plus: For those with more severe acne issues and hyperpigmentation, we may recommend VI Peel Purify with Precision Plus. This treatment clears away oil and dead skin while addressing melanin production in the skin to give you the best of both worlds.
- VI Peel Advanced: Designed for older patients (40+), VI Peel Advanced is formulated to address common signs of aging, including wrinkles, fine lines, sun damage, and sagging.
- VI Peel Body: If you thought chemical peels could only be used on the face, then allow our team to introduce you to VI Peel Body. This first-of-its-kind treatment stimulates collagen growth in the skin and can be used to treat hyperpigmentation, acne, scarring, stretch marks, and sagging all over the body.
No matter which VI Peel you choose, you can expect little to no pain during and after your treatment. I recently underwent a breast reduction surgery, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Dr. Itedl, Kimmy, and the receptionist Ashley were incredibly professional, guiding me through every step and addressing all of my concerns. The surgery itself went smoothly, and the recovery process was much easier than I anticipated. I’m 5’3 and 120lbs with an original cup size of a G. Dr. Itedl nailed the shape and areola size of my breast to match perfectly to my frame. One of the biggest benefits has been the relief from upper back, neck, and lower back pain, which was the main reason I opted for the procedure. The results look so natural, and the scars are already starting to fade. If you’re considering breast reduction surgery, I highly recommend it. It has been truly life-changing for me. The outcome has been everything I hoped for and more!
Kimmy is a phenomenal injector and is extremely knowledgeable about PRF/EZ Gel, energy based treatments, scarring, and her insight and education about facial anatomy, the aging process, and treating general cosmetic concerns for various ethnic skin types is extensive and surpasses any other injector I’ve encountered before. She is warm, patient, very empathetic, and I always feel fully heard and cared for during my appointments. She is so friendly, dedicated and passionate about what she does, and she truly shines in her role. Iteld Plastic Surgery (and her patients) are so lucky to have her! She’s a true gem! I have made an appointment for a consultation with Dr. Iteld. First, as most should know, liposuction is NOT for weight loss, but "body conturing", though after a procedure, "minimal" weight loss may occur. Secondly, it is important that good research should be done BEFORE considering this procedure. DO NOT SETTLE for just anyone. Dr. Iteld is a highly accredited plastic surgeon. Even before making my appointment, I was extremely impressed by the patient, kind, informative and professional attention from one of his staff members. Rarely does one find such people these days. So, whether I am a candidate for this procedure or not, and especially as a retired medical professional, myself, I can honestly say, I KNOW I chose the right professional and staff, who are in a beautiful setting with plenty of parking.
