Alma Hybrid sets the standard of skin rejuvenation, resurfacing, and scar treatment. It delivers impressive results with its dual laser strategy of fully customizable ablative and non-ablative wavelength ratio. FDA approved, this fabulous device combines two core energies — a CO2 laser and a non-ablative 1570nm laser:

  • CO2 — The optimal blend of ablative, coagulative and thermal effect for efficient, for highly precise focused or fractional laser treatments that offers the perfect resurfacing.
  • 1570 nm — A powerful non-ablative laser that creates the ultimate deep thermal effect, promoting collagen synthesis and improving pigment without damaging the skin’s outer layer.

Why two wavelengths, not just a CO2 laser?

The Alma Hybrid combines the power of ablative and non-ablative lasers for a wide range of treatments, creating a uniquely synergistic effect. This unique combination enables us to create a tailor-made treatment for you with, controlled downtime, to suit your individual needs and schedule. Since both laser wavelengths have their own optimal effect on the skin, side by side, treatments are highly effective and suitable for most skin types.

“The Alma Hybrid is the holy grail of aesthetic treatments. It gives you maximum benefits with minimal downtime.”

What does it address?

Alma Hybrid treatments can address various skin concerns for all skin tones, including:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Acne and other scars
  • Benign lesions
  • Skin laxity
  • Sun damage
  • Brown spots
  • Uneven skin tone and texture
  • Hyperpigmentation

Is the treatment painful?

Despite being very powerful and effective, treatment with the Alma Hybrid laser is incredibly comfortable. We start by applying an effective numbing cream. The device has a cold plate that comes in contact with the skin next to where the laser beam makes contact, so that generally all you will feel is a mild prickling sensation.

How long does the treatment session take?

Our treatments are custom-designed for each individual patient but, as a general rule, take 60 – 90 minutes, including numbing time.

How many treatments are needed?

Some patients have excellent results after just one treatment, and this can be done annually to maintain skin quality and keep pigment in check. In general, though, we recommend two to three treatments at least 12 weeks apart. Some patients treating heavier scarring will need up to five treatments. We’ll discuss your customized treatment plan during your consultation.

Is there much downtime?

Downtime is greatly reduced with this advanced laser treatment. You’ll likely experience some redness, swelling, and tenderness, which may last for about a week, and can easily be managed with medical-grade topical aftercare products.
