Breast Augmentation: Options Abound
4/6/2020
Any woman who wants larger breasts or to improve her natural breast size asymmetry is a candidate for breast augmentation. This is also a good solution for a woman who has lost volume after weight reduction or pregnancy.
Options for sizes and shapes
We have various sizes, shapes, and implant fills from which you can choose. The best news is that during your pre-surgery consultation, we use Vectra 3D imaging so you’ll see how you’ll look even before you make your final decision. This simulation system provides detailed, 3D images and allows you to see how your breast enhancement will appear when completed. Vectra 3D imaging gives you a clear understanding of the results you can expect from your breast augmentation procedure.
Surgical options
As with every aspect of your breast augmentation procedure, you have options. I can use breast implants or fat transfer to increase and balance the size and shape of your breasts. Surgical procedures include inserting new breast implants, exchanging existing implants, having a breast lift, or performing a breast lift with your breast augmentation.
Taking it a step further, there are different places where I place the implants. After I make an incision, the breast implant is inserted into a pocket, which is either under the pectoral muscle (a submuscular placement), or directly behind the breast tissue, over the pectoral muscle (a submammary/ subglandular placement). Placement is often based on the implant you choose.
Narcotics-Free Surgery means easier recovery
As with most of the procedures I perform, narcotics-free breast augmentation is a reality. My use of long-acting local anesthetics injected directly into your surgical site during your procedure means you won’t need narcotics afterward, and you’ll have the time you need to recover without pain.
