Love your lips

Lip augmentation has evolved drastically over the past years, and that’s a really good thing for you. Now you have more options than ever to love your lips. We have ways to change the fullness of your lips and their shape, as well as the shape of your smile.

Dermal Fillers

For years, adding dermal fillers has been the gold standard for lip enhancement and continues to be so. These injections add volume to your lips. Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers – including Juvéderm, RHA, and Restylane – are the best and most common products we recommend for lip fillers. HA naturally occurs in the body and not only attracts moisture (and volume) to the lips but also stimulates the lips’ ability to produce more collagen. These fillers produce consistent and predictable results, have few side effects, and have no downtime after your treatment. This means you get immediate, natural-looking results, and you’ll continue to see a gradual improvement in your lip area as collagen increases. Dermal Fillers are a great option if you want to:

  • add volume in the upper and/or lower lip
  • address vertical lip lines
  • improve overall lip shape and symmetry

Lip Flip

A lip flip creates volume by causing more of the upper lip to show. Neuromodulators, such as Wrinkle Relaxers and Daxxify, are a great way to achieve fuller/poutier lips and soften lines. Our expert aesthetic nurse injectors strategically inject one of these neuromodulators above your upper lip. This relaxes the muscles of the upper lip, causing it to flip outwards. Just a few quick injections can help the upper lip lift and roll slightly upward, which allows more of the upper lip to be visible. It is an excellent alternative to fillers if you just want a subtle enhancement, or if you want to enhance the shape of the upper lip with minimal effort. As a bonus, injecting neuromodulators this way can also help smooth vertical lines around the lips, and if you’re seeking a less toothy or gummy smile. You’ll notice the effects within a few days of treatment, with full results in about one week. Your results from Wrinkle Relaxers for lips last up to two to three months; Daxxify lasts for about four to six months.

Lip Lift

A lip lift is a surgical procedure that shortens the space below your nose and above the lip’s vermillion border, thereby creating a shorter and fuller upper lip and revealing more of your smile. The procedure increases the amount of pink tissue that’s visible which makes your lips look fuller and more pronounced. You may be a good candidate for a lip lift if you have a long distance between your upper lip and the tip of your nose (¼ – ¾ inch). This is a relatively permanent solution, but there is always a slight chance the upper lip can droop with age. Since it is surgery, there is some downtime. We remove your stitches a week following the procedure, and it may take 3 – 4 months to completely heal. Some patients have laser treatment afterward to treat any residual scar.

Combinations

Many patients get the best results when they combine dermal fillers with a lip flip and when they have us inject fillers with a lip lift. Fillers enhance lip volume, and the lip flip and lip lift give you a more dramatic result.
