Having kids is a rewarding and fulfilling experience, but it also takes its toll on your body. Pregnancy, as well as breastfeeding, can make significant impacts that neither diet nor exercise can fix. It’s time to talk with us about a mommy makeover. A mommy makeover is a customizable combination of procedures to help you get back to your pre-pregnancy body. It involves several surgical procedures where some (if not all) are performed at the same time. There is no set formula for a mommy makeover; rather each is tailored to the patient’s specific needs, and as individual as you.

What it involves

Your mommy makeover is designed specifically for your needs, to help you obtain a balanced, attractive body contour, maybe even better than your pre-baby body. Depending on your specific needs, it may include some or all of the following:

  • Breast surgery — augmentation, reduction, and/or lift
  • Tummy tuck
  • Liposuction
  • Labiaplasty
  • Brazilian butt lift

Often, my patients include nonsurgical options as the finishing touch, such as Wrinkle Relaxers, dermal fillers, laser treatments, and other nonsurgical treatments to reduce the visibility of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots on their face. And, if you’re dealing with cellulite or sagging skin, we have treatments to help minimize those pesky issues as well.

Benefits

Here are a few things you can look forward to after having your mommy makeover:

  • improved body proportions
  • more shapely breasts
  • a flatter and tighter tummy
  • a tight, well-shaped butt
  • more enjoyable intimate moments

Ultimately, you’ll look better in everything you wear and enjoy your new you.

Considerations

A mommy makeover may be appropriate for you if you have loose or droopy skin around your abdomen; your breasts have lost volume or are sagging; have excess fat that hasn’t responded to diet or exercise; and/or sexual activity remains uncomfortable. You can have these procedures whenever you’re ready, however, we recommend waiting until you’re done having children before having your tummy tuck and labiaplasty. It’s best to complete your family and breast feeding before moving forward with reducing the signs of pregnancy and restoring what time have taken from your body. It’s important to remember this is not a weight-loss program nor is it a substitute for exercise. You should be at or close to your ideal weight, physically fit, and in good health. And, as with all surgical procedures, it’s important to have realistic expectations about your surgical outcomes.
