Restoring Volume and Enhancing Body Contours with alloClae™
8/10/2026
If you’re looking for a way to restore soft tissue volume without traditional fat transfer, alloClae™ may be worth considering.
What Is alloClae™?
Simply put, alloClae™ is made from donated human fat tissue. It is comprised of non-living fat cells, extracellular matrix (ECM), triglycerides (lipids), and connective tissues.
Rather than harvesting fat from your own body, alloClae provides a ready-to-use option for restoring volume where it’s needed. Because it contains no living fat cells, it works differently than fat transfer while still creating a soft, natural feel once placed. For the right patient, it offers another way to restore volume and improve body contours without fat harvesting.
This innovative injectable restores soft tissue volume without harvesting your own fat. While it isn’t intended to replace traditional fat transfer, it gives me another option for helping patients achieve natural-looking body contours.
How Is alloClae Different From Traditional Fat Transfer?
Patients often ask whether alloClae replaces traditional fat transfer. The answer is no.
Traditional fat transfer continues to be an excellent option for many patients. During that procedure, I remove fat from one area of your body, process it, and then transfer it to another area to restore volume.
The biggest difference with alloClae is that there is no fat harvesting procedure.
That means there is:
- No liposuction to harvest fat
- No donor site to heal
- No need to have enough excess body fat for grafting
For many patients, that’s an important advantage.
Where Can alloClae Be Used?
One of the advantages of alloClae™ is its versatility. It’s designed to restore soft tissue volume and improve contour in selected areas of the body.
In my practice, I most commonly use alloClae for:
- Hip dips to create smoother, more balanced body contours.
- Breast contour enhancement, including improving fullness or correcting minor contour irregularities in carefully selected patients.
- Body contouring applications, where restoring volume can improve symmetry, soften contour irregularities, or enhance overall shape.
Treatment recommendations are always individualized based on your anatomy and aesthetic goals.
Who Is a Good Candidate?
I typically recommend alloClae for patients who are looking for modest, natural-looking volume enhancement rather than dramatic enlargement.
One of the things I like about alloClae is that it expands the treatment options I can offer. It can be an excellent alternative for some patients and is especially helpful for those who don’t have enough excess fat for traditional fat transfer or who prefer to avoid fat harvesting.
You may be a good candidate if you:
- Prefer to avoid fat harvesting.
- Don’t have enough excess fat for traditional fat transfer.
- Want an option that doesn’t require harvesting your own fat.
- Are looking to improve hip dips, breast contours, or other areas where restoring volume can enhance overall body contours.
- Would like natural-looking improvement with an in-office procedure.
During your consultation, we’ll discuss your goals, evaluate your anatomy, and determine whether alloClae, traditional fat transfer, implants, or another body contouring procedure is the best option for achieving the results you’re looking for.
What Is Recovery Like?
Most patients experience some swelling, bruising, or tenderness following treatment, which gradually improves over the first several days.
Because alloClae doesn’t require fat harvesting, recovery is generally limited to the treated area.
How Long Do Results Last?
One of the questions patients ask most is, “How long will my results last?”
While everyone’s experience is different, the goal of alloClae is long-lasting volume restoration. Early clinical experience has been very encouraging, and I’ll talk with you about what you can realistically expect based on the area being treated, your anatomy, your lifestyle, and your goals.
alloClae gives me another way to personalize treatment. For some patients, traditional fat transfer remains the best option. For others, alloClae offers an excellent alternative.
Why I Chose to Offer alloClae
I don’t add new treatments simply because they’re new. I choose technologies that expand the options I can offer my patients, and alloClae does exactly that. It gives me another way to restore volume and improve body contours while tailoring treatment to each patient’s anatomy, goals, and desired outcome.
