How Does JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC Work?
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC injections can usually be performed immediately following your consultation at our office. First, we'll have you sit back and relax while Dr. Iteld or another member of our team cleans and prepares your skin for your injectable treatment. Our injector may also use a local anesthetic to help make the treatment less painful if requested. After marking the desired treatment areas, we'll administer the JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC injections with a fine-gauge needle. It's common to experience minor swelling or redness following most injectable treatments, but this should subside in time. We advise refraining from any strenuous activities or touching your face for a day or two after your JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC procedure to prevent the formula from spreading into other areas.
